The goal is to work on an advanced quality control system that uses generative AI, to transfer the knowledge of expert operators into automatic monitoring systems.
The project leader is Dr. Luigi Capogrosso, who would follow the student. SI would be part of a 3-person team, Uzair Khan and Ziyue “Karin” Li.
This course + thesis gives the opportunity to work within the ICE laboratory. The system was born from a scientific work published this year, which is currently created in the form of a prototype (a real conveyor belt with a vision installed on it), already presented at various trade fairs.
