At the beginning of this year, the AI4Materials group had the pleasure of establishing a vibrant international collaboration 🌍: Dr. Eros Radicchi joined the University of Istanbul-Cerrahpaşa as a visiting researcher, working under the supervision of Prof. Atiye Tuğrul and collaborating closely with Dr. Erdi Avcı. During this time, we engaged in productive efforts to prepare project proposals under EU research and innovation programs.
As part of his visit, Dr. Eros Radicchi also delivered a talk at the Department of Geological Engineering entitled “Computational methodologies for materials science (and geology): from quantum mechanical simulations to AI-based techniques”. The presentation was positively received, generating new ideas for collaboration and future projects in materials science and geology.
